Acts 2:42-47, “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”
WHAT IS IT?
This summer we are doing something called House to House to intentionally reach people for Jesus. For the months of June, July, and August we will be dismissing our Sunday evening prayer time so that you can host get-togethers at your home to reach people who are lost or who are on the edges of our church.
According to Acts 2:42-47, the early church met together in their homes and the church grew exponentially. We are following their example. We want you to invite people who don’t know Jesus or people who aren’t connected to church to your home for a meal or for a game night or for any type of fun hangout activity you enjoy.
Please don’t be intimidated by this. You don’t have to own a mansion to host House to House! It doesn’t matter if you live in an apartment or a trailer or a small house or a large house – even YOU can host one of these get-togethers!
If you want to host a House to House get-together this summer, please click the button below to sign up. We can’t hear about all of the awesome things that happened in your House! We are believing that many people are going to come to Jesus through House to House!
